Aion 2 Ranger Guide: Build, Stigmas and Daevanion

Global launched with Season 1 and a level cap of 45. The numbers on this page come from top Korean players, who are on a later patch with a higher cap. Only skills, wings and Daevanion boards that exist in the global client are shown, so read the percentages as priorities, not as exact targets.

Quick summary

The Ranger is a bow-wielding ranged physical DPS and the most played class among Korean top players. Range makes boss mechanics easier to handle, and the kit has a good mix of single-target and area skills. It depends heavily on gear stats and on constant movement.

Strengths

Range makes it easier to react to boss patterns.
Can kite melee classes in PvP.
Balanced mix of single-target and area skills.

Weaknesses

In trouble as soon as an enemy closes the gap.
You are moving all the time, which is tiring to play.
Damage feels low until accuracy and crit are in place.

Gear upgrade order

Complete the max-level dungeon set.
Bow upgrades and accuracy together. Attack and accuracy are the base of your damage.
Then stack crit. It is what scales your burst once you are hitting reliably.
Finish with bonus stats, Daevanion, Arcana and titles.

Gameplay tips

Footwork first: good positioning is worth more than a perfect rotation.
Know your skills: learn which skills can be used on the move and which root you in place, and reorder your rotation around boss patterns.
Kiting: don’t just run in a straight line. Use terrain and angles to keep distance.

Arcana
