Aion 2 Assassin Guide: Build, Stigmas and Daevanion

Global launched with Season 1 and a level cap of 45. The numbers on this page come from top Korean players, who are on a later patch with a higher cap. Only skills, wings and Daevanion boards that exist in the global client are shown, so read the percentages as priorities, not as exact targets.

Quick summary

The Assassin is a dual-dagger melee DPS with some of the highest single-target burst in the game. In Korean dungeon logs it sits at the top of the damage charts alongside the Sorcerer. It is also one of the least forgiving classes: low defenses and a combo-heavy kit.

Strengths

Top-tier single-target burst, which makes it excellent on bosses.
Stealth openers give it the initiative in PvP.
Plenty of mobility and evasion once you learn to use them.

Weaknesses

Fragile: a mistake usually means death.
Weak area damage, so mob farming is slow.
Relies on skill combos and has a steep learning curve.

Gear upgrade order

Complete the max-level dungeon set.
Weapon upgrades and crit together. Crit is what makes the class work, so raise it alongside your daggers rather than after.
Accuracy from accessories if you find yourself missing.
Bonus stats: crit and additional damage.
Finish with Daevanion, Arcana and titles.

Gameplay tips

Opening: wait 3–5 seconds after the tank has settled threat before your stealth opener. You stay alive and still get your full rotation.
Burst windows: line your cooldowns up so they all land in the same cycle. That is where most of your damage comes from.
PvP: put everything into the first ambush. If it doesn’t kill, disengage and wait for stealth to come back instead of trading.
